She has work in many private collections and gained several awards from Zimbabwe and England. 'My art is concerned with a framework of autobiographical reference. Studio based, my paintings and drawings don’t necessarily owe their origins and reference to landscape. I’m interested not so much with the geography of a place but, with the spirit of a space acknowledging a life flavoured with the different rules and customs of faraway cultures. My aim is to present an intimate and personal set of windows into the corners of my psyche, presenting touchstones of reminiscence without allusions to places gripped by the complications of its past and the struggles of its present.'
